Tour Plan

Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Welcome to Morocco! Your adventure begins in Marrakech. After arriving at your accommodation and meeting your local Dune Trek Tours team, you will have free time to relax and discover the city at your own pace.

In the evening, head to the famous Djemaa el-Fna, the heart of Marrakech. As the sun goes down, the square comes alive with local performers, storytellers, musicians, traditional food stalls and fresh juice stands. Take a walk through the surrounding souks, discover the atmosphere of the old Medina and enjoy your first evening in Morocco.

Accommodation: hotel in Marrakech – 1 night. Meals: no meals included. Travel: no long-distance travel.

Day 2: Marrakech – Taghazout

After breakfast, we leave Marrakech and travel towards the Atlantic coast to Taghazout, a relaxed traditional fishing village famous for its beautiful beaches and excellent surfing conditions. Enjoy the journey through the Moroccan landscape before arriving in Taghazout.

Once there, you will have time to explore the village, walk along the beach and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of this famous surf destination. In the evening, you can discover local restaurants and enjoy fresh Moroccan or seafood dishes.

Accommodation: surf camp – 1 night. Meals: breakfast. Travel time: approximately 4 hours.

Day 3: Taghazout surf experience

Start your morning with the Atlantic Ocean and get ready for a fun day of surfing. Today includes a half-day surfing lesson with local instructors. Whether you are a complete beginner or already have some surfing experience, the instructors will help you enjoy the waves safely and confidently. You will learn the basic techniques, balance and safety rules before getting into the water.

After the surf lesson, enjoy free time at the beach, explore Taghazout or simply relax at the surf camp.

Accommodation: surf camp – 1 night. Meals: breakfast. Included activity: Taghazout half-day surfing lesson.

Important: surfing times may change depending on sea and tide conditions.

Day 4: Taghazout – Essaouira

After breakfast, we continue along the Atlantic coast towards the beautiful historic town of Essaouira. On the way, we stop at a local women’s Argan oil cooperative. Discover how traditional Argan oil is produced, learn about the work of local women and taste some of the products made from the famous Argan tree.

Continue to Essaouira, where the old Medina meets the Atlantic Ocean. After arrival, enjoy a walking tour with your local guide through the historic Medina, traditional streets, the old Jewish quarter, the fishing port and the famous Skala sea walls. You will also have the opportunity to taste some Moroccan street food and discover local flavours.

Accommodation: hotel in Essaouira – 1 night. Meals: breakfast. Included activities: Argan oil cooperative visit, Essaouira walking tour with a local guide, Moroccan street food tasting. Travel time: approximately 4 hours.

Day 5: Essaouira – Marrakech

After breakfast, enjoy some final free time in Essaouira. Take a last walk through the Medina, visit the harbour, enjoy the ocean views or have a coffee before beginning the journey back to Marrakech.

We return to Marrakech, where the adventure comes to an end. Depending on your departure time, our team can help you arrange your transfer to the airport.
